The owner/principal of the ABACUS CPA Group, PC is Carl Chandler, CPA. His wife, Sally, was a teacher in Novi for 30 years until she retired in the summer of 2015. Carl and Sally were residents of Novi for nearly 35 years and have four grown children. Carl and Sally moved to Brighton Township in December of 2015.
  
Carl is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with High Honors. Since graduation, he has had over 35 years of experience in accounting, tax and finance. He spent the first six years of his career as a Certified Public Accountant with the firm of Arthur Andersen & Co., and then the second six years as CFO of RPM Pizza Company, the largest Domino’s Pizza franchisee. Since then, Carl has run his small accounting and tax office, along with handling the accounting/administrative duties of several restaurant franchisees of which he is a part owner.

Carl is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
